As we struggle to deal with this unleashing of the spirit of death and loss, we all as Christians seek to reconcile the words of Jesus with our personal experience of it.
Much like darkness being the absence of light, hate is the absence of love. And, as there is a progression from day to night, light to dark, there is also a progression from love to hate.
The death of creativity occurs when we follow the path of the Evil One and harden our hearts, when we reject the “Imago Dei.” And, when creativity dies so does the greatest gift of God’s creativity. Love.
